Winemakers Federation of Australia - The Winemakers' Federation is the peak industry body representing Australia's wineries on all national and international issues, existing to advance and protect the interests of Australia's winery operators. Restaurant & Catering Association of South Australia - The peak industry body representing the hospitality industry in the state. They are a not-for-profit employer association that serves and represents members of the Restaurant and Catering industry throughout South Australia. Members of the association consist of restaurateurs, café operators, caterers and suppliers to the industry. Barossa Grape and Wine Association - Wine Barossa is now part of the Barossa Grape & Wine Association, a historic pairing of winemakers and grape growers in Australia's most famous wine region. With over 750 members, BGWA represents the heart of Australian winemaking. McLaren Vale Grape Wine and Tourism Association - McLaren Vale Grape Wine and Tourism is tasked with making the district world class. South Australian Food Centre - This website connects food businesses to the right people to help with business planning, products, packaging, processing, safety, marketing and distribution - and links to the South Australian Food Plan. South Australian Premier's Food Awards - Applications for 2009's Awards close 31 July 2009. Tasting Australia 2010 - Tasting Australia is one of Australia's most influential and best attended food and drink festivals. The event has hosted hundreds of the world's top chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs, food, wine, beer and travel media - including the most highly respected television presenters and producers - and has attracted a wide cross-section of the food-loving public to Adelaide and South Australia. The next Tasting Australia will be held from the 29 April to 6 May 2010.
How to get involved? Tasting Australia is looking for a range of unique and individual events to form part of the Associated Events programme. An Associated Event must be unique, created specifically for the Tasting Australia period and unavailable to the general public on an ongoing basis. Examples of Associated Events include:
