Jacob’s Restaurant at Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre, presents a quality wine and food experience complemented with its panoramic views of Barossa vineyards, wine tasting and the tour experiences. The restaurant offers a seven-day-a –week a la carte lunch menu featuring seasonal produce, presented with wine recommendations for each dish. The menu features fresh, seasonal produce sourced from across South Australia, Australia and from the local Barossa Valley producers and is matched to regional South Australian wine. The restaurant menu aims to provide international diners with a taste of modern Australian cuisine with Asian influences.

Set on 36 hectares on the banks of Jacob's Creek in the Barossa Valley, the Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre is the home of the famous wine brand. The Centre offers much more than wine tasting; with an interpretive history and winemaking gallery and an onsite restaurant where guests can enjoy a lunch of fresh, seasonal, regional Australian produce. Surrounding the Centre, visitors can tour the display vineyard, visit the native animal enclosure and picnic grounds and explore the walking trail along the famous Jacob’s Creek. Designed to be environmentally sustainable, the Centre welcomes more than 164,500 visitors each year and encourages them to discover more about the brand’s history and product range.

Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage
Set in a private vineyard in the historic Barossa Valley, Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage offers the discerning traveller premium, boutique vineyard accommodation. The meticulously restored 1860s German settler’s cottage is exclusively for one couple and heritage features, such as mud and wood beamed ceilings, combine seamlessly with premium furnishings and modern luxuries, including under-floor heating, Bose sound systems and wireless broadband internet. Owned and hosted by wine producers Peter Milhinch and Sharyn Rogers, guests can immerse themselves in an authentic Barossa food, wine, and heritage experience.

The week-long event brings the world’s top cyclists including Lance Armstrong and Cadel Evans to South Australia to compete in the elite ProTour race. The Tour races through South Australia’s regions attracting over 770,500 spectators and beaming images of the State’s landscapes and attractions to millions of viewers worldwide. Not just a bike race, it is a festival of cycling with great associated events that create a party atmosphere across the State.

It’s more than just a bike race; it is a festival of cycling, with an eight day calendar of events that create a massive party atmosphere across the State. The 2009 Tour Down Under made history as one of Australia’s biggest sporting events ever held with more than 760,500 spectators lining the streets of Adelaide and over 40 regional towns.

As a city icon, the Adelaide Convention Centre sits on the banks of the River Torrens with dramatic views of the parklands, Adelaide Oval and the spires of St Peter’s Cathedral. The Centre was the first purpose built conference and convention centre in Australia, and for more than two decades has been hosting local, national and international events.
