How to Enter
The 2013 South Australian Tourism Awards program will be launched Tuesday, 26 March 2013.
The South Australian Tourism Awards are an online submission and site-visit based program. Your nomination is considered your expression of interest to undertake the awards process and complete your submission(s).
There are 30 categories from food and wine to accommodation to tours and attractions.
Nomination Fee:
SATIC Members: $190 per nomination (non-refundable, GST inclusive)
Non-SATIC Members: $290 per nomination* (non-refundable, GST inclusive)
The nomination fee for the South Australian Tourism Awards includes:
- Awards industry workshops
- State judging panel meetings
- National awards judging process
- State-wide on-site visit assessments
- Co-ordination and administration
- Appointment of independent auditor (KPMG)
Nominations close: Friday 28 June
Submissions due: Monday August 12
*FREE ACCREDITATION WITH TOURISM AWARDS ENTRY IN 2013 for first time non-Accredited nominees*
We are giving the opportunity for first time non-accredited Tourism Awards nominees to become tourism accredited; the accreditation registration fee (usually from $250) will be included in the Awards nomination fee. Once the nominee becomes a tourism accredited business they will also be a member of the South Australian Tourism Industry Council and be T-QUAL endorsed.
The Awards process is online through the eAwards portal. You will be asked to both nominate and upload your submission (PDF) online. Site-visits are required from some categories.
